95 Phonics Core Program

Developed by 95 Percent Group, the curriculum is built on a structured literacy framework and follows a defined scope and sequence covering phonological awareness, phonics, spelling, and high-frequency word instruction. Lessons are organised into daily routines that include explicit teacher modelling, guided practice, and student application activities.

The programme provides teacher manuals, student practice materials, decodable readers, and assessment resources intended for use as a Tier 1 core reading curriculum. The programme aligns with the science of reading research and incorporates approaches associated with structured literacy, including multisensory techniques and cumulative review.

It includes placement and progress-monitoring assessments designed to identify student skill levels and inform instructional grouping. Supporting digital resources are provided for classroom display and student practice, and the materials are intended for use by classroom teachers, reading specialists, and interventionists working with primary-age pupils in school settings.
