Description
Accent 800 is an augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) device manufactured by PRC-Saltillo, designed to support individuals with complex communication needs through a dedicated speech-generating tablet.
The device features an 8-inch touchscreen display and is built into a ruggedised casing intended to withstand regular use in educational, therapeutic, and home environments. It runs PRC-Saltillo's communication software, which includes the Unity, LAMP Words for Life, and CoreScanner vocabulary systems, allowing users to select from symbol-based language frameworks suited to different cognitive and linguistic profiles.
