Accessit Library

The system provides cataloguing tools, circulation management, and an online public access catalogue (OPAC) that allows students and staff to search for physical books, eBooks, and digital resources from a single interface. It supports MARC record import, barcode and RFID-based check-in and check-out, reservation management, and overdue tracking.

Accessit Library integrates with eBook platforms, audiobook providers, and external databases, enabling federated searching across both physical and digital collections. The platform also includes reading promotion features such as reading lists, book reviews, and quizzes designed to support literacy programmes.

Accessit Library is used by primary and secondary schools, further education colleges, and small library districts internationally. It is offered as a hosted service with browser-based access for librarians, teachers, and students, and supports single sign-on with common school identity providers.

Administrative functions include stock-taking, reporting on circulation and collection use, budget tracking for acquisitions, and user account management synchronised with school management information systems. The product is part of the Follett Software portfolio following Follett's acquisition of the New Zealand–based Access-It Software, and is marketed as suitable for small districts in North America and schools of any size in other regions.
