ACEBOTT QD001 ESP32 4WD Mecanum Wheel Camera WiFi STEM STEAM Programming Smart Robot Car kit
Description
ACEBOTT QD001 ESP32 4WD Mecanum Wheel Camera WiFi STEM STEAM Programming Smart Robot Car kit is an Arduino-compatible robotics kit used for teaching programming, electronics, and robotics concepts through assembly and control of a four-wheel-drive robot vehicle.
Built around the ESP32 microcontroller, the kit includes a chassis with four mecanum wheels for omnidirectional movement, a camera module, motors, sensors for line tracking and obstacle avoidance, and an infrared remote control. The robot can be operated through multiple methods, including IR remote, a web-based interface accessed over WiFi, and a dedicated mobile application.
The modular hardware design supports expansion with additional components, allowing learners to extend the base configuration with further sensors and peripherals. The kit is intended for use in STEM and STEAM education contexts, including secondary school computing lessons, after-school clubs, and introductory robotics courses.
As the platform is Arduino-compatible, learners can programme the robot using the Arduino IDE alongside block-based programming environments suitable for younger users. Typical learning activities include constructing the vehicle, writing code to control motor behaviour, configuring sensor inputs for autonomous navigation, and using the on-board camera for vision-based projects.
The product is supplied by ACEBOTT as part of its Explorer Series of educational robotics kits.
