Description

Alongside is a mobile application that provides middle and high school students with clinician-designed exercises and activities to support mental health, wellbeing, and relationship development.

The application offers a library of self-guided activities and exercises created by clinicians, addressing topics such as emotional regulation, interpersonal relationships, stress management, and personal challenges faced by adolescents. Content is structured to be accessible to students aged approximately 11 to 18, with personalisation features that adapt the experience based on individual user needs and circumstances.

Alongside is available on iOS and Android devices, as well as through a web-based interface, allowing students to access support across multiple platforms. The service is typically deployed within secondary and high school settings as part of broader pastoral care and student wellbeing provision, providing schools with a digital resource to complement existing counselling and pastoral support structures.

The platform is designed for use by students directly, with the aim of helping young people develop self-help strategies for emotional and social difficulties.
