Description

Arbor MIS is a cloud-based management information system used by primary, secondary, and multi-academy trust schools for managing student records, attendance, assessment, communications, and administrative operations.

The platform consolidates core school administration functions into a single web-based interface, covering areas such as student information management, attendance registration, behaviour tracking, assessment recording, timetabling, and parent communications. Staff can access pupil records, run statutory reports including census returns, manage admissions workflows, and handle day-to-day tasks such as cover arrangements and detention scheduling.

The system includes a parent portal and mobile application that allow parents and carers to view their children's attendance, receive school notifications, make payments, and book parents' evening appointments. Arbor is offered in editions tailored for primary schools, secondary schools, and multi-academy trusts, with the trust edition providing group-level dashboards and reporting across multiple settings.

The system integrates with third-party tools commonly used in UK schools, including finance systems, safeguarding platforms, learning resources, and Department for Education services. Features include workflow automation for routine administrative processes, customisable reports and dashboards, bulk communication tools via email and SMS, and data analysis functions intended to support school improvement planning.

The platform is delivered as a software-as-a-service product accessed through a web browser, with updates released centrally to all users.
