Description
AverPoint Classroom is an integrated reading, writing, and research platform used for enhancing existing courses by providing tools for students to engage with texts and develop critical thinking skills.
The platform enables students and educators to read, write, and conduct research using any text, with tools designed to support reading comprehension, writing development, and source analysis within established curricula. Developed in collaboration with professors and teachers, AverPoint Classroom integrates into existing course structures without requiring additional grading workload from instructors.
The platform is available through browser extensions for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, as well as mobile applications for iOS and Android. AverPoint Classroom is part of a broader suite that includes News Challenge, a separate product focused on weekly reading and critical thinking exercises connected to current events.
The service is used by students at nine colleges and over 200 high schools, including institutions such as the University of Michigan, Boston University, University of California Berkeley, University of Wisconsin–Madison, Eton College, Harrow School, Ridge High School, Big Foot Union, and the Academy of the Sacred Heart. The platform targets both secondary and higher education markets, supporting reading, writing, and research activities across various academic disciplines.
