AVID Ignite

Delivered by AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), the programme offers structured training sessions for teachers, instructional coaches, and school leaders who are new to the AVID system. Sessions cover core AVID methodologies including writing, inquiry, collaboration, organisation, and reading (WICOR) strategies, alongside techniques for developing student agency, rigorous classroom environments, and equitable learning practices.

The training is available through various delivery formats, including in-person institutes, virtual live sessions, and self-paced online modules. Participants engage with curriculum materials, instructional videos, and facilitated discussions designed to build familiarity with AVID's framework before progressing to more advanced AVID professional learning pathways.
