Book Creator

The platform provides a canvas-based authoring environment in which pupils and teachers can combine text, images, audio recordings, video, drawings, and embedded media to produce digital books. Completed projects can be exported as ePub files, PDFs, or videos, and published online through shareable links.

The application runs in a web browser and is also available as an iPad app, with content stored in cloud-based libraries that can be organised by class or teacher. Book Creator is used across primary, secondary, and higher education for activities including digital storytelling, science journals, portfolios, reading comprehension tasks, language learning, and coursework documentation.

The service integrates with Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, and various learning management systems, and supports collaborative authoring where multiple pupils can contribute to a single book in real time. Accessibility features include read-aloud functionality, dyslexia-friendly fonts, and automatic translation tools intended to support learners with additional needs and those working in multiple languages.
