Canva for Education

The platform provides a drag-and-drop interface with a library of templates, images, fonts, videos, and graphic elements that can be used to produce posters, infographics, lesson materials, classroom displays, social media graphics, and student assignments. Features include real-time collaboration, allowing teachers and students to work on designs simultaneously, as well as commenting and sharing tools for group projects.

Integrations are available with learning management systems such as Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, Canvas, Schoology, and Moodle, enabling assignments to be distributed and submitted within existing classroom workflows. Canva for Education is offered free of charge to verified primary and secondary school teachers and their students, and includes access to premium content, templates, and tools that are otherwise part of the paid Canva Pro subscription.

The service supports the creation of interactive presentations, whiteboards, and video projects, and includes accessibility features such as alt text and reading order controls. Administrative controls allow schools and districts to manage user accounts, content moderation, and classroom settings.
