CloudApps Classroom is a browser-based virtual learning platform used for streaming desktop applications to students and managing virtual classroom environments in schools and districts.
Developed by itopia, the platform delivers over 150 desktop applications through a web browser, including creative and design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Fusion 360 and Unity. Applications are streamed from cloud infrastructure, allowing students to access resource-intensive software on lower-specification devices, including Chromebooks, without requiring local installation.
Access to applications is controlled centrally by administrators, who can determine which tools are available to specific users or groups. The platform includes classroom management tools for teachers, providing functionality to customise virtual classroom environments, monitor student engagement, and supervise student activity during lessons.
