Description
CoSpaces Edu (now Delightex Edu) is a web-based 3D creation and coding platform used by students to build interactive virtual environments, games, and stories across mobile, tablet, desktop, and Chromebook devices.
The platform provides a visual building environment where students assemble 3D scenes from libraries of objects, characters, and environments, then add interactivity using CoBlocks, a block-based coding language with support for TypeScript. Projects can be viewed in augmented reality and virtual reality modes, including integration with the MERGE Cube, and the platform includes a physics engine, 360-degree tour creation, and real-time collaboration features that allow multiple students to work on the same project.
Intended for use in classroom settings, the service includes class management tools that enable teachers to create assignments, monitor student progress, and manage student accounts. It is offered through a free Basic plan with limited projects and class sizes, and a Pro plan starting from USD 50 per seat per year that provides unlimited projects, AI-powered creation tools, publishing to a gallery, advanced coding features, and additional collaboration options.
The platform is operated by Delightex and is used in primary, secondary, and higher education contexts for subjects including STEM, computing, storytelling, and game design.
