CPOMS

The platform allows staff to log incidents and concerns relating to pupils, with records categorised by safeguarding type and assigned to designated personnel for follow-up action. Information is stored against individual pupil profiles, creating a chronological history of concerns, interventions, and outcomes.

Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) and other authorised staff can review case histories, add notes, attach supporting documentation, and assign tasks to colleagues. The system includes alerting mechanisms that notify relevant staff when new information is added to a pupil's record or when actions require attention.

CPOMS is used across primary schools, secondary schools, independent schools, further education colleges, and multi-academy trusts in the United Kingdom and internationally. The software provides role-based access controls so that sensitive information is restricted to appropriate personnel, and it generates reports for statutory returns, Ofsted inspections, and internal monitoring purposes.

Features include integration with management information systems for pupil data synchronisation, secure transfer of records when pupils move between schools using the CPOMS network, and analytical tools for identifying patterns or trends in safeguarding data.
