Curipod
Description
Curipod is a web-based interactive lesson platform used for creating and delivering teacher-led classroom lessons that incorporate writing exercises, polls, word clouds, and group discussions aligned to curriculum standards.
The platform allows teachers to build interactive slide-based lessons that combine instructional content with student response activities, including open-ended writing prompts, multiple-choice polls, drawings, and word clouds. Students join sessions via a code on their own devices and submit responses in real time, with the teacher controlling the pace of the lesson from the front of the classroom.
Curipod includes AI-assisted lesson generation tools that produce lesson drafts based on a topic, grade level, or curriculum standard, which teachers can then edit before delivery. The service is aimed at primary and secondary school teachers, with content templates aligned to United States district curricula and state standards.
Features include automated feedback on student writing, classroom discussion prompts, and reporting on student participation and responses. Lessons can be shared between educators through a public library of community-created content, and the platform supports integration with common classroom workflows for assigning and reviewing writing practice across subject areas.
