Description
Dynamo Maths is an online learning platform used for identifying and supporting learners with dyscalculia and mathematical learning difficulties through personalised assessment and intervention programmes.
The platform consists of two main components: a screening assessment that profiles a learner's numerical understanding and identifies indicators of dyscalculia, and a structured intervention programme that delivers personalised learning activities based on the assessment results. Activities are designed around concrete, pictorial and abstract approaches to teaching number concepts, covering areas such as number sense, place value, calculation and problem solving.
The system generates individual learning pathways and tracks progress against specific mathematical skills over time. Dynamo Maths is used by primary and secondary schools, specialist teachers, SENCOs, tutors and parents working with children who experience difficulties with mathematics.
The platform provides reporting tools that allow educators and parents to monitor learner activity, view assessment outcomes and review progress across the intervention programme. Resources are aligned with the early years and primary mathematics curriculum and are intended to be used alongside classroom teaching or as part of targeted intervention sessions for learners requiring additional support.
