Edpuzzle Interactive Video Platform

The platform allows teachers to upload their own videos or select content from sources such as YouTube, Khan Academy, National Geographic, and TED-Ed, then edit them by trimming sections, adding voiceovers, inserting multiple-choice or open-ended questions, and including written notes at specific timestamps. Students watch the assigned videos and respond to embedded questions, with the system preventing them from skipping ahead until they have answered.

Teachers receive data on which students watched the videos, how many times sections were rewatched, and how students performed on the embedded questions. Edpuzzle integrates with learning management systems and classroom platforms including Google Classroom, Canvas, Schoology, Microsoft Teams, Clever, and ClassLink, supporting single sign-on and automated rostering.

The service is used across primary, secondary, and higher education settings to support flipped classroom approaches, asynchronous learning, and formative assessment. It offers free accounts for individual teachers with limited storage, alongside paid school and district plans that provide expanded storage, collaboration features, and administrative controls.

The platform supports multiple languages and is accessible through web browsers and dedicated mobile applications for iOS and Android.
