Description

eFit Software is an activity tracking and grading platform used for managing physical education and kinesiology courses in higher education, automating the recording of student fitness data and the generation of grades for import into learning management systems.

The platform connects to consumer fitness devices and applications, including Fitbit, Google Fit, and Apple Watch, to collect data on steps, activity minutes, heart rate, and nutrition. Instructors configure grading criteria based on this data, and the system automatically calculates weekly and semester grades that can be exported to learning management systems such as D2L Brightspace, Blackboard, Canvas, and Moodle.

Additional functionality includes pre- and post-course fitness assessment tracking, AI-generated workout and meal plans, and an interactive eBook with AI-generated explanations of course content. eFit Software is aimed at community colleges and higher education institutions delivering online, hybrid, and in-person physical education and kinesiology courses.

The platform includes the PocketAI Journal component, which provides student well-being support alongside the activity tracking features. By replacing paper-based activity logs and manual grade calculation, the system is intended to reduce administrative workload for instructors while providing a consistent record of student participation in physical activity coursework.
