Description

EntrySign is a visitor management and sign-in system used by schools and organisations to record, monitor, and manage the movement of visitors, staff, and pupils on site in real time.

The system replaces traditional paper-based sign-in books with electronic kiosks and software that capture visitor details, print identification badges, and maintain digital records of who is present on a premises at any given time. Functionality typically includes pre-booking of expected visitors, DBS verification prompts, signature capture, photograph capture, and the issuing of branded visitor passes.

EntrySign also provides modules for staff and pupil registration, late arrivals, early departures, and fire evacuation reporting, allowing designated personnel to produce an up-to-date roll call during emergency situations. EntrySign is marketed primarily to schools, academies, and multi-academy trusts in the United Kingdom, with applications in safeguarding, site security, and compliance with statutory record-keeping requirements.

The platform integrates with management information systems to synchronise pupil and staff data, and supports configurable workflows for different visitor categories such as contractors, supply staff, parents, and governors. Additional features include notification alerts to host staff when visitors arrive, reporting tools for analysing site footfall, and options for touchless or contactless sign-in via QR codes and mobile devices.
