The platform provides a library of pre-built assessment tests covering subjects such as literacy, mathematics, and early learning skills, which teachers can administer individually to students using a tablet or computer. Educators can also create custom assessments tailored to their curriculum requirements.

Results are recorded in real time during the assessment, with the system automatically tracking which skills or concepts each pupil has mastered and which require further instruction. ESGI generates a range of reports for teachers, parents, and administrators, including individual student progress reports, class-wide skill summaries, parent letters, and flashcards targeting areas where pupils need additional practice.

The platform is designed primarily for pre-kindergarten through second grade classrooms and is used in schools, early learning centres, and home-schooling environments. Subscriptions are available on an individual teacher basis or through school and district licences, with data accessible through a web-based interface.
