FFT

The organisation operates FFT Aspire, a data analytics system used by schools to track pupil performance, analyse attainment and progress, and benchmark outcomes against national datasets. Aspire is used at both individual school level and across multi-academy trusts, where leaders use the platform to obtain an overall view of performance across constituent academies.

Alongside the analytics platform, FFT delivers structured literacy programmes designed to support reading development in primary and early secondary education. In addition to its data and literacy services, FFT publishes educational research and statistical analysis through FFT Education Datalab, which examines trends in pupil attainment, attendance, workforce data, and education policy.

The organisation produces reports, briefings, and visualisations drawing on national pupil-level datasets. FFT works with schools, trusts, local authorities, and government bodies, and its outputs are used to inform school self-evaluation, target setting, and policy analysis within the English education system.
