FutureReady Career Development Program
Description
FutureReady Career Development Program is an online career exploration platform from Gladeo used for introducing students to a range of career pathways through video-based content, courses, and self-discovery activities.
Developed by the non-profit organisation Gladeo, the programme provides career exploration courses that combine short-form video documentaries with structured learning activities. Course modules cover sectors such as healthcare, technology, business, creative industries, and the trades, with each pathway featuring interviews and day-in-the-life profiles of working professionals.
Students complete reflection exercises, self-assessment tasks, and guided activities designed to connect personal interests and strengths with potential career options. The platform is typically used in secondary school career education, post-16 study programmes, and youth development settings, and can be delivered as a self-directed online course or integrated into classroom instruction by teachers and career advisers.
Content is organised around skills development, labour market awareness, and exposure to occupations that students may not encounter through their immediate networks. Accompanying resources include educator guides, lesson materials, and tracking tools that allow staff to monitor learner progress across the modules.
