Hpara Classroom Management

The platform consists of several integrated modules designed for use in K-12 educational settings. Hāpara Highlights provides teachers with visibility into student browser activity, allowing them to view open tabs, close tabs remotely, send messages, and guide students to specific web pages during lessons.

Hāpara Teacher Dashboard offers a view of student work across Google Workspace applications, including Google Docs, Slides, Classroom assignments, and Gmail activity. The Filter component functions as a school web filter that applies content restrictions both on and off school premises, with separate policies configurable for different year groups or classes.

Additional modules include Hāpara Workspace, which enables teachers to create and distribute differentiated lessons and learning pathways, and Student Dashboard, which gives pupils a consolidated view of their assignments and resources. The system integrates with student information systems for class roster synchronisation and supports single sign-on through Google and Microsoft accounts.

Hāpara is typically deployed across entire schools or multi-academy trusts and is used by classroom teachers, IT administrators, and senior leaders for purposes including digital citizenship instruction, safeguarding, and monitoring student wellbeing through analytics on online behaviour patterns.
