HR Management Simulation: People Analytics
Description
People Analytics is an HR management simulation used for teaching workforce strategy, employee performance management, and human resources decision-making in an educational setting.
Set within the context of a customer support call centre employing 500 agents and 25 team leaders, the simulation places participants in the role of Human Resources Director over a five-to-seven-year period. Learners make a sequence of HR management decisions intended to achieve the organisation's strategic objectives, including improving customer satisfaction while controlling operating costs.
Outcomes depend on maintaining a workforce that is high-performing, engaged, and appropriately trained. The simulation covers areas of human resources practice such as workforce planning, recruitment, training and development, performance management, compensation, and employee engagement.
Participants analyse workforce data and apply people analytics principles to inform their decisions, observing the longer-term consequences of those choices on staff performance and business results. It is produced by SimInstitute and is used in higher education and corporate learning environments to support teaching of HR management, organisational behaviour, and people analytics modules.
