Description
IRIS Education Management Suite is an integrated software platform used for managing administrative, financial, and operational functions within schools, multi-academy trusts, and other educational institutions in the United Kingdom.
The platform combines several modules covering management information systems (MIS), finance and accounting, human resources, payroll, parent communication, and cashless catering. Schools can use the suite to maintain pupil records, track attendance and behaviour, process admissions, manage staff records, and handle statutory reporting requirements such as census returns.
The finance components include budgeting, general ledger accounting, purchase ordering, and consolidation tools designed for multi-academy trust structures. IRIS Education Management Suite is supplied by IRIS Software Group and is used across primary schools, secondary schools, independent schools, and multi-academy trusts.
The suite incorporates products that were previously sold under separate brand names, including IRIS ParentMail for parent communication, IRIS ParentPay for online payments and cashless catering, and PS Financials for trust-level accounting. The modules can be deployed individually or as an integrated package, with data sharing between components intended to reduce duplicate data entry across administrative functions.
