The platform consists of a collection of application programming interfaces (APIs) that software developers integrate into their own products to deliver online testing and assessment functionality. Learnosity's APIs are used by publishers, learning management system providers, assessment organisations, corporate training providers, and higher education institutions to add assessment capability to their platforms without building it from scratch.

The service includes AI-enriched tools for generating items, rubrics, and feedback, as well as remote proctoring integrations and secure delivery options. Hosting infrastructure is provided across multiple regions, and the platform handles question authoring, item banking, test delivery, automated and manual marking, and reporting of learner performance data.
