LEGO Education SPIKE Prime

The SPIKE Prime set includes colourful LEGO building elements, a programmable hub with sensors and motors, and an associated software application supporting both icon-based and Python coding. Students construct models and program them to complete tasks, with lessons covering topics in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

The set is intended for classroom use, after-school clubs, and home learning environments, with curriculum-aligned units provided by LEGO Education. SPIKE Prime is part of the wider LEGO Education product range used in secondary schools to introduce computational thinking and engineering design principles.

Teachers access lesson plans, assessment tools, and professional development resources through the LEGO Education platform. The system supports collaborative learning activities and can be used for competitive robotics programmes such as the FIRST LEGO League.
