Developed by ADInstruments, the platform combines pre-built and customisable lessons with data acquisition tools that connect to laboratory hardware, allowing students to record physiological signals such as ECG, EEG, respiration, and muscle activity directly within their lessons. Instructors can edit existing content, create their own lessons, embed videos and images, and add interactive question types including multiple choice, short answer, drawing, and labelling exercises.

The platform includes a content library covering subjects such as human physiology, exercise science, anatomy, pharmacology, psychology, biology, and nursing, with materials aligned to common undergraduate curricula. Lt operates through a web browser and supports both in-class and remote learning configurations, with student work synchronised to the cloud for instructor review.

The system provides automatic grading for certain question types, manual grading workflows for written responses, and exportable results for integration with institutional gradebooks. It is used by universities, colleges, and medical schools for teaching laboratory-based science courses, and supports collaboration features that allow groups of students to share data and responses within a single lesson.

Institutional licences are available, and the platform can be integrated with learning management systems through standards such as LTI.
