Lessons can be delivered synchronously in the classroom or assigned for individual student work, with options for teacher-paced or student-paced progression. The platform includes formative assessment tools that enable teachers to monitor student understanding in real time, alongside collaborative workspaces where students can contribute simultaneously to shared activities.

Lumio operates through a web browser and is accessible across desktop and mobile devices, allowing students to participate using their own devices.
