Mega Seating Plan

The platform enables teachers to design seating layouts that reflect the physical configuration of their classrooms, with drag-and-drop functionality for arranging student positions. Users can import class lists and link student data, allowing seating charts to display information such as prior attainment, special educational needs, pupil premium status, and behavioural notes alongside each student.

The tool includes automated optimisation features that generate seating arrangements based on configurable rules, such as separating particular students, pairing learners by ability, or balancing groups. Mega Seating Plan is used in primary, secondary, and further education settings to support lesson planning, behaviour management, and differentiation.

Seating plans can be printed, exported, or shared with cover staff and senior leadership. The service operates as a web-based application, with seating charts stored online so that teachers can access and update them across devices.

Additional functionality includes random name pickers, group generators, and tools for tracking participation during lessons.
