MLC Number Chart

Developed by The Math Learning Center, the application provides an interactive grid that learners can manipulate to investigate numerical relationships. Users can adjust the starting number, increment, and grid dimensions to create charts displaying sequences of whole numbers, fractions, decimals, or negative values.

Cells can be highlighted, masked, or annotated to draw attention to patterns such as multiples, even and odd numbers, or skip-counting sequences. The tool runs in a web browser without requiring installation or user accounts, and is also available as a downloadable application for tablets and desktop computers.

It is one of a suite of free virtual manipulatives produced by The Math Learning Center for use in primary and elementary mathematics instruction. Teachers commonly use the application during whole-class demonstrations on interactive whiteboards, while pupils use it independently to model arithmetic concepts and explore number relationships.
