My Reading Academy

Developed by Age of Learning, the programme uses a sequenced curriculum based on the science of reading, covering phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Lessons are delivered through animated characters, songs, and interactive exercises, with content organised into levels that progress from foundational letter recognition to reading full sentences and short stories.

The platform includes a digital library of decodable books and storybooks aligned with each instructional level, allowing children to apply skills learned in lessons to independent reading practice. The service is used by families at home and is also available in versions intended for classroom and educational settings.

It includes adaptive features that adjust pacing and content based on a child's performance, along with progress tracking tools that allow parents and educators to monitor learning milestones. My Reading Academy is part of the broader Age of Learning portfolio, which also includes ABCmouse and My Math Academy, and is accessible through web browsers and mobile applications on iOS and Android devices.
