MyConcern

The platform allows designated safeguarding leads, teachers, and other staff members to log concerns about students through a secure digital interface, replacing paper-based recording systems. Records can include details of incidents, observations, disclosures, and actions taken, with supporting documents, images, and correspondence attached to individual case files.

The system applies role-based permissions so that sensitive information is only accessible to authorised staff, and it maintains a chronological audit trail of all entries, edits, and actions associated with each case. MyConcern includes features for case management, chronologies, body maps, risk assessments, and the categorisation of concerns under areas such as child protection, behaviour, attendance, mental health, and online safety.

Reporting tools allow safeguarding teams to identify patterns and trends across individuals, year groups, or the wider institution, and to produce data for inspection bodies and statutory returns. The software is used in primary and secondary schools, colleges, multi-academy trusts, independent schools, and other settings working with children or vulnerable groups, and supports information sharing with external agencies such as local authorities and social services.
