NAHT Professional Development

Delivered by the National Association of Head Teachers (NAHT), the programme offers a range of courses, conferences, webinars, and workshops covering topics relevant to school leadership and management. Subject areas include leadership development, school improvement, finance and business management, safeguarding, Ofsted preparation, employment law, governance, curriculum planning, and wellbeing.

Sessions are delivered through a mix of in-person events, virtual classrooms, and on-demand online learning, with content aligned to the requirements of primary, secondary, and special school contexts. The service is available to both NAHT members and non-members, though members typically receive reduced rates.

Bookings are made through the NAHT website, where users can browse upcoming events, access course descriptions, and reserve places. The programme also includes nationally recognised qualifications and accredited training routes, alongside bespoke training that can be commissioned for individual schools or multi-academy trusts.

Resources accompanying the training, such as policy templates, recorded sessions, and reference materials, are made available to participants through the NAHT member portal.
