News2you is a symbol-supported weekly newspaper and curriculum resource used in special education to develop literacy, communication, and critical-thinking skills through current events and informational text for students with diverse learning needs.
Published by Everway, the resource delivers weekly editions containing news articles, current events stories, and informational text adapted with symbol support to accommodate learners with complex communication needs, autism, and other learning differences. Each issue includes accompanying activities such as comprehension exercises, vocabulary practice, games, jokes, and recipes, alongside the main news content.
Articles are written at multiple reading levels to allow differentiation within mixed-ability classrooms, and the symbol overlays support pupils who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.
