PBLWorks

Operated by the Buck Institute for Education, the organisation offers a range of services centred on its Gold Standard PBL framework, which sets out design elements and teaching practices intended to support project-based instruction. Offerings include in-person and online workshops, sustained coaching engagements, school and district partnerships, and a library of curriculum materials and project examples available through its website.

Programmes are aimed at classroom teachers, instructional coaches, school administrators, and district leaders working across primary and secondary education. In addition to professional learning services, PBLWorks publishes free and paid resources such as project planning templates, rubrics, and example projects covering subjects including mathematics, science, English language arts, and social studies.

The organisation runs an annual PBL World conference and provides certification pathways for educators seeking to become National Faculty members or PBL-certified teachers. Research and white papers on the implementation and outcomes of Project Based Learning are also made available through the site.
