Description
Populi is a cloud-based higher education management platform used for administering student information, learning, admissions, financial aid, billing, and fundraising operations within colleges and universities.
The platform combines a Student Information System (SIS) with a Learning Management System (LMS), along with modules for customer relationship management, financial aid processing, billing, accounting, donor management, and reporting. Administrative functions cover the entire student life-cycle, including recruitment, applications, admissions, enrolment, course delivery, assessment, graduation, and alumni engagement.
Financial aid features connect directly to United States Department of Education web tools to retrieve and submit information, and the billing module consolidates student financial accounts to track balances and accept payments across devices. Faculty use the system to deliver coursework, conduct live lectures, manage assignments, and record grades, while admissions staff track prospects through a timeline that records calls, emails, notes, and application progress.
The platform provides separate access for staff, faculty, students, applicants, alumni, and board members, with role-appropriate tools available through web browsers. Additional capabilities include online application processing, reference collection, donation processing with recurring giving options, and integration with external systems through an application programming interface, webhooks, single sign-on, and pre-built connectors.
Customer support, training, and technical assistance are provided to all users as part of the subscription.
