Delivered by Read Naturally, the platform combines three research-based strategies — teacher modelling, repeated reading, and progress monitoring — into a structured intervention designed for use in classrooms, intervention groups, and home learning settings. Students work through levelled non-fiction stories at their assessed reading level, listening to a fluent narration, practising the passage independently until a target words-per-minute rate is achieved, answering comprehension questions, and recording their own reading for teacher review.

The system automatically tracks fluency rates, comprehension accuracy, and time on task, generating reports that staff can use to evidence progress and adjust placement. Read Live includes several content series covering different age ranges and ability levels, along with optional Spanish-language materials and a phonics series for emerging readers.

Teachers manage student rosters, assign series and levels, set goals, and review recorded readings through an administrative dashboard. The programme is typically used by primary schools, special education staff, reading specialists, and tutoring providers supporting struggling readers, English language learners, and pupils with specific literacy needs.

Because the platform is browser-based, schools can deploy it without local software installation, and student work is synchronised across devices used at school and at home.
