Reading Park

Designed for learners in early years through to upper primary, the platform focuses on the core components of literacy instruction, including phonemic awareness, phonics, decoding, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Activities are presented in a game-based format set within illustrated environments, with pupils progressing through tasks that adjust in difficulty based on their performance.

The system uses adaptive algorithms to determine the next appropriate activity for each learner, with the aim of providing practice at an individualised level. Reading Park is used in classrooms, intervention sessions, and home learning contexts, and is accessible through web browsers on desktop and tablet devices.

Teachers and administrators can access reporting dashboards that show pupil progress, time spent on the platform, and skill-level performance data. The service forms part of the broader DreamBox Learning suite, which also includes mathematics products, and is marketed primarily towards schools in North America.

Originally launched as Squiggle Park, the product was acquired by DreamBox Learning and rebranded as DreamBox Reading Park.
