Description

Reflex is a web-based educational software programme used for developing math fact fluency in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division for students in grade 2 and above.

Developed by ExploreLearning, the platform uses an adaptive game-based approach to help students achieve automaticity with basic mathematics facts. Students progress through individualised learning paths that adjust to their current level of fluency, working on facts they have not yet mastered while periodically revisiting previously learned material to reinforce retention.

The system tracks each student's progress and presents facts in a structured sequence designed to build fluency systematically. The service includes a teacher dashboard that provides reports on student usage, progress, and fluency gains, allowing educators to monitor individual and class-level performance.

Reflex is typically used in primary and lower secondary classrooms, as well as in intervention settings for older students who require additional support with mathematics facts. It is also available to home users through Time4MathFacts.

The platform supports student, educator, and parent login portals, and can be used alongside Frax, ExploreLearning's fractions programme.
