Robolink CoDrone EDU
Description
Robolink CoDrone EDU is a programmable educational drone used for teaching coding, robotics, and STEM concepts to students through hands-on flight programming activities.
The CoDrone EDU is a small quadcopter designed for classroom and home learning environments, supporting programming in Python and Blockly. The drone arrives ready to fly out of the box and supports basic manoeuvres such as flips and dives via a paired controller, while also allowing pupils to develop custom flight routines through code.
Onboard sensors include a colour sensor, front range sensor, bottom range sensor, barometer, and gyroscope, which can be accessed programmatically to support lessons in data collection, sensor integration, and autonomous flight logic. Robolink provides accompanying curriculum materials, lesson plans, and teacher resources aligned with computer science and STEM learning objectives, covering topics from introductory block-based programming through to text-based Python development.
The platform is used in primary, secondary, and higher education settings, as well as in coding clubs and after-school programmes. Additional features include multi-drone swarm programming capabilities, integration with common classroom computing environments, and support resources for educators new to drone-based instruction.
