Family members access a connected app that delivers updates on their child's classroom activity, including announcements, messages, and individual learning posts. Administrative features support school and district-wide deployment, with options for class management, content moderation, and integration with student information systems and single sign-on providers such as Google, Microsoft, and Clever.

Seesaw operates on web browsers and as native applications for iOS, Android, Kindle Fire, and Chromebook devices, and offers both free and paid subscription tiers for individual classrooms, schools, and districts.
