Description

SkillZilla is a mobile application designed to help young adults identify their transferable skills, develop workplace competencies, and find entry-level employment through a guided, self-paced process.

The platform begins with a short assessment, described as taking approximately 60 seconds, which generates a personalised Skill Profile for each user. This profile translates an individual's existing attributes and experiences into terms that employers recognise, addressing the common challenge faced by young people who feel uncertain about their career direction.

The application follows a four-stage progression: Discover, Train, Build, and Apply. Features include daily power-skill training exercises aimed at developing workplace competencies, and a job-matching function that presents employment opportunities aligned with the user's Skill Profile.

The service is mobile-first in design and is offered free to begin, with no prior work experience required. SkillZilla is targeted primarily at young adults seeking their first job, and positions itself as a guided pathway from career uncertainty to employment, intended to be used at the individual's own pace.
