SnapType Pro 2

Developed by an occupational therapist, the application is designed for students who experience difficulty with handwriting, including those with dysgraphia, fine motor difficulties, or other learning differences. Users capture an image of a printed worksheet using the device's camera, after which the worksheet appears on screen with text boxes that can be positioned and resized to type responses in the appropriate locations.

Completed worksheets can then be saved, printed, or shared electronically with teachers. The application is used in primary, secondary, and special education settings, as well as by occupational therapists and learning support staff working with pupils who require alternative methods for completing written tasks.

SnapType Pro 2 includes features such as adjustable text size, multiple font options, image annotation tools, and the ability to organise completed worksheets into folders. The platform supports independent task completion by pupils, reducing the need for scribing support and enabling work to be submitted in a typed format alongside peers.
