It is structured around a series of modules covering areas such as sport, music, calendar management, and general co-curricular activities, allowing institutions to adopt the components relevant to their operations.

The system is used by independent and international schools to coordinate activities between staff, pupils, and parents. SOCS includes dedicated portals for parents and pupils, providing access to schedules, team selections, results, and activity sign-ups.
