Synergy MTSS
Description
Synergy MTSS is a multi-tiered system of supports module within the Synergy Education Platform used for managing student intervention plans, tracking academic and behavioural progress, and coordinating tiered support strategies in K-12 schools.
Developed by Edupoint Educational Systems as part of the broader Synergy Education Platform, the module supports the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks used by school districts. It allows educators to identify students requiring additional academic, behavioural, or social-emotional support, document intervention plans, and monitor progress over time.
The system organises students into tiered support levels and provides workflows for case management, referrals, and team-based decision making. Functionality includes progress monitoring tools, goal setting, intervention libraries, and reporting dashboards that track student response to interventions.
Because the module is integrated within the Synergy Student Information System, it draws on existing student records, attendance, grades, and assessment data, reducing duplicate data entry. Intervention teams, counsellors, and classroom teachers can collaborate on documented plans, schedule meetings, and generate reports for parents and administrators.
The platform is primarily used by public school districts in the United States and supports compliance with state and federal reporting requirements related to student intervention programmes.
