Third Space Learning

The platform delivers structured maths lessons via an interactive online classroom, where pupils work with a dedicated tutor using a shared digital whiteboard. Sessions are typically aligned to national curriculum standards, with the US service mapped to Common Core State Standards and the UK service following the National Curriculum for mathematics.

Each lesson is supported by pre-prepared learning materials, diagnostic assessments and progress tracking tools that allow schools to monitor pupil attainment over time. Third Space Learning is used by schools to support targeted intervention, particularly for pupils requiring additional help to close attainment gaps in mathematics.

The service includes reporting tools for teachers and school leaders, providing data on session attendance, topics covered and pupil progress. Schools typically purchase blocks of weekly sessions for selected pupils, with tutors delivering instruction remotely during the school day.

The platform also offers supplementary classroom resources, including worksheets, lesson slides and assessment materials that teachers can use independently of the tutoring sessions.
