Developed by October Resolutions Limited, the software has been in continuous development for over 40 years and is used in secondary schools across more than 80 countries. It runs as a desktop application and provides tools for entering curriculum data, defining subject blocks and option choices, assigning teaching staff to classes, and scheduling lessons across the school week.

The system supports both manual scheduling and automated assistance, allowing timetablers to resolve clashes, balance teacher workloads, and accommodate part-time staff, shared rooms, and split classes. Functionality includes options for handling year groups, mixed-ability and setted classes, double and triple periods, and rotating timetables across multiple weeks.

The software produces a range of outputs including individual teacher and pupil timetables, room schedules, and master timetables in printed and electronic formats. Companion modules cover options choices, cover management for absent staff, and publishing timetables to portals or learning platforms.

Training is provided through documentation, online tutorials, and consultancy services for new and experienced timetablers.
