Trellis
Description
Trellis is an AI-powered teacher evaluation and classroom observation platform used for conducting walkthroughs, generating framework-aligned feedback, and tracking teacher growth in K-12 schools.
The platform supports classroom observations and walkthroughs through both audio and text capture, with customisable observation forms that can be aligned to instructional frameworks such as Danielson, Marzano, the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTPs), and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Observation data is processed to produce personalised feedback for teachers, and longitudinal growth profiles allow school leaders to track teacher development over time.
The system also supports alignment with district and school priorities, and includes role-based access controls for administrators, coaches, and other staff. Trellis is designed for use by K-12 school leaders, instructional coaches, and administrators responsible for teacher evaluation and professional development.
Teacher personally identifiable information is anonymised before being processed by AI components, and the service is built on infrastructure described as SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certified, with design considerations for compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). A free trial is available, and the platform is delivered as a web-based application accessible through standard browsers.
