Typing Pal School Edition

Developed by Druide informatique, the platform provides a structured curriculum for learning touch typing technique and improving typing speed. Students progress through graded exercises and activities designed to build proper finger positioning, accuracy, and speed at the keyboard.

The School Edition includes features tailored for classroom use, such as teacher dashboards for monitoring student progress, group management tools, and reporting on individual and class performance. The service is available in multiple languages, including English and French, and supports both UK and other regional keyboard layouts.

The platform is accessed through a web browser, allowing students to use it on a range of devices including desktop computers, laptops, and tablets. Teachers can assign exercises, set objectives, and track metrics such as typing speed (words per minute) and accuracy across their classes.

Typing Pal is used by primary and secondary schools as well as school districts to deliver keyboarding instruction as part of digital literacy and ICT curricula. Licensing is offered through a quote-based model for schools and districts, with separate Personal and Home editions available for individual users.
