WeWillWrite
Description
WeWillWrite is a social writing platform used for engaging students in collaborative writing activities through timed prompts and peer interaction in classroom settings.
Designed for use in classrooms, the platform presents students with writing prompts that they respond to within a set time limit, after which their submissions are shared with classmates for reading and voting. This game-based format introduces an element of peer feedback and friendly competition into writing exercises, with the aim of encouraging participation among students who may otherwise be reluctant writers.
Teachers use the platform to run writing sessions across a range of subjects and age groups, selecting from pre-written prompts or creating their own. The system supports multiple languages and is used in schools internationally, primarily at primary and secondary level.
Sessions can be conducted in-person or remotely, with students accessing the platform via a web browser on any internet-connected device. Results from each writing round are displayed to the class, allowing teachers to highlight examples and discuss writing techniques as part of the lesson.
